At Sunlight we pride ourselves on providing challenges to dancers of all levels. We have advanced performance teams that represent; Urban Fusion, Commercial, Afrobeats, and so much more! You can find more information on what they are about below.
Our teams train several times a week and are dedicated to a professional outlook, it is the perfect way to take your dance journey further. Becoming a member of an elite performance team is possible for anyone willing to work hard. Membership is by invitation only so we encourage you to keep an eye out for auditions.

Crash, bang, whack! Coming in swinging are the QUEENZ. A fusion of traditional Dancehall steps, afro movements, hip hop grooves and a touch of spiciness!
Our talented performers wow crowds locally in Canberra and interstate at Latin & Reggae Festivals, The National Multicultural Festival, charity events, corporate events and more!

SADA
Sunlight Afro Dance Academy is Canberra’s first adult Afro Dance Academy, led by coach and Sunlight Dance Studio Director, Pascal. They are a community group brought together by a mutual love of dance, focused on supporting and building our understanding of afro based dances with an infusion of varied cultures and dance styles.
